Potos is a wonderful sea-side village, located next to a very long and sandy beach on the island’s southern coast. The narrow streets are lined with shops, restaurants, snack bars, cafés and bars while cars and motorbikes are limited to only a few roads in town.
Theologos the largest traditional mountain village on Thassos, is only 10 Km from Potos. The old capital of the island is the best start to induct yourself in the authentic Thassian culture!

Tavern Iatrou ( Kleoniki) is located in Theologos, which is one of the most picturesque and traditional villages in Thassos.
Small alleys, traditional houses made of stone in a village built in the nature. It is suitable for those who want to be close to nature and taste meat on the spit, only 15 minutes away from Potos.
